Adding notes or highlighting text is possible with the Kindle although you can only do it using the keyboard and not &quot;freehand&quot; as the Kindle isn&#039;t touchscreen yet. These features though have been omitted from the Kindle for iPhone app, but I think you can read whatever notes you&#039;ve made on your Kindle (if you have both).  If you want to make notes using a stylus, you can do that with the newer models of the Sony Reader. Hope this helps! :)</description>
